Hemp Milk

A very quick and easy alternative to other nut or soy milks - packed full of protein!

INGREDIENTS

METHOD

- Combine all ingredients in a blender for 30-40 seconds until completely pulverized.

- Strain mixture through muslin cloth (or similar)  

- Keep refrigerated for 3 days

However, if the basic recipe doesn't rock your hemp boat (like me), try this:

HEMP MILK {RE-TOTALLY-MASTERED}

I'll call this one the yummy version :)

  • 1 cup Green Earth Farm De-Hulled Hemp Seed

  • 2 1/2 cups Water (separated 1 & 1/2 and 1)

  • 1/2 Teaspoon of Vanilla

  • 2 Tablespoons maple syrup (or more/less to taste)

  • 1/4 (Pinch) tea spoon Sea Salt 

METHOD

- Combine 1 & 1/2 cups water with hemp seed in a blender for 30-40 seconds until completely pulverized.

- Add remaining cup of water, Vanilla, Maple Syrup and Sea Salt and blend for a further 30-40 seconds

- Strain mixture through muslin cloth (or similar)  

- Keep refrigerated for 3 days

Holy Hemp!  Delicious!

*Tip - use the pulp after straining as a spread alternative
