In its purest form, Hemp Seed Oil can be added to many of your favourite foods or drinks (I love mine on egg and toast in the morning!), or you can take it on its own. It’s magnificent for the skin and it can also be used as a rub or massage oil.
Quick Tip: Rub a little Hemp Seed Oil on your face in the morning – this will smooth the skin and assist the application of your cosmetics.
For blokes going for that uber style beard, try a little Hemp Seed Oil for that added glow!

Everything that you wanted to know about Hemp Oil, but didn’t want to ask ~
Hemp Oil, or Hemp Seed Oil, is sometimes touted as being amazingly curative. I would have to say, that’s a little misleading, and I’ll tell you why;
Some Hemp Seed Oil advocates claim absolute anecdotal evidence for curative properties ranging from improving acne to treating cancer, to slowing the progression of heart disease and Alzheimers.
That’s partly true, but a little overreaching. Here’s what IS true;
Hemp Seed Oil may be able to help with certain health issues, particularly skin conditions and inflammation. Hemp Seed Oil contains very high levels of essential polyunsaturated fatty acids, including Omega 3’s and Omega 6’s. In fact, in the natural world, Hemp Seed Oil contains the “most perfectly balanced” essential fatty acids at an ideal ratio of 3:1.
Fatty Acids, which we obtain from food, are vital for normal bodily system functions.
Hemp Seed Oil can also contribute to stronger skin. As we age our skin becomes thinner and tears easier, using Hemp Oil in your daily routine can assist your skin to remain strong and be more resistant to viral, bacterial and fungal infections. It can also be effective in treating a number of other skin conditions such as Acne & Eczema.
Hemp Oil, PMS & Menopause
There are many studies that suggest that the physical or emotional symptoms associated with premenstrual syndrome are potentially caused by sensitivity to the hormone prolactin. Sensitivity normally occurs due to low, or reduced, levels of prostaglandin E1 (PGE1) – not to worry, this very common, and is understood to be responsible for the physical and emotional symptoms associated with PMS & Menopause.
Luckily Hemp Seed Oil can help. Hemp Oil’s gamma linolenic acid (GLA) assists in the production of PGE1. In fact, some studies have claimed that women with PMS, or experiencing Menopause, who took 1 gram (which is less than one teaspoon) of Fatty Acids that include 210mg of GLA (like Hemp Oil), experienced a notable decrease in symptoms. That’s wonderful news!
To put it mildly, Hemp Seed Oil is an amazing daily supplement to include in your diet. I use it a couple of times a day – just drizzled lightly on every meal!
